Three layers. Validated channels. Self-replenishing market.
50 testers across Minecraft, League of Legends, Just Chatting, Apex, RDR2, Art streams and more — proving demand across every niche, not just mainstream games. 50 testers. 100% retention. Zero paid acquisition. We tested paid Reddit ads and confirmed organic outperforms paid at this stage — a finding that shapes every layer of this strategy.
Alpha phase: 50 users acquired through direct community seeding across r/smallstreamers, r/Twitch_Startups, and gaming subreddits — zero paid spend. This validates organic channel effectiveness, not a steady-state CAC. Formal unit economics will be established on the first paying cohort post-launch.
Reddit organic posts across r/streaming, r/SmallStreamers, and niche game subreddits. Personal network. Direct Discord LFG community outreach. This is how StreamFuse acquired its first 50 alpha testers — zero ad spend, zero paid acquisition. This channel is proven, repeatable, and remains active.
Assumed conversion: 0.3% post→signup = ~600 users from first seeding wave across all channels
Promotional posts get banned. Value-add posts don't. Every post leads with a free resource — collab checklist, timezone calculator, content calendar — and mentions StreamFuse only as the tool behind it. Our founder-owned server is the fallback owned channel that no mod can remove. Where possible, we partner with mods directly rather than posting around them.
Layer 1 proved the channel. Layer 2 scales it with more surface area. The founding team leads direct seeding into OBS forums, Streamlabs communities, and game-specific Discord servers where our ICP already lives and actively discusses streaming growth. These communities are not cold audiences; they are creators already searching for what StreamFuse solves. Parallel track: organic Reddit expansion into adjacent subreddits beyond r/SmallStreamers, targeting game-specific communities where streamers congregate.
Equivalent volume is addressable through direct game-subreddit seeding at the same 0.3% conversion rate already validated in Layer 1.
Validated channels: r/smallstreamers, r/Twitch_Startups, and genre-specific gaming subreddits. 0.3% signup conversion rate observed in alpha.
OBS, Streamlabs, and StreamElements collectively serve StreamFuse's entire ICP. Outreach initiated with the OBS plugin repository team and Streamlabs developer program. Goal: StreamFuse appears as a native integration inside the tools creators already use — zero cold acquisition cost, distribution at the point of creative setup.
Upside channel: if OBS partnership closes by Month 4, adds estimated 2,000 incremental creator signups. Not required to hit 500-creator milestone.
IN OUTREACHExecuted by: Community Growth Specialist (funded hire, Month 2 onboarding — see funding allocation). Content cadence: 4 videos/week across TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Format: react to streamer struggle content — the frustration, the isolation, the grind — then segue naturally to StreamFuse as the solution. Target: 500 followers by Month 3, 2,000 by Month 6 (projected target — unvalidated, based on category benchmarks (comparable channels: StreamBeats, Lurkit content arm, TubeBuddy YouTube channel — avg 8–14 months to 2K subscribers)). Funnel: view → bio link → Discord join → StreamFuse signup. Assumed 2% view-to-Discord conversion, 15% Discord-to-signup. Affiliate track: 10 target YouTube creators publishing "grow on Twitch" content, $5/verified signup, budget capped at $2K Month 1.
Note: These are acquisition targets, not validated figures. Organic channel performance will be reviewed at Month 3 milestone.
After every successful collaboration, StreamFuse automatically generates a shareable tweet card showing each creator's viewership delta — e.g. "I grew 168% from my first StreamFuse collab." No on-chain verification required. Just a screenshot of real results.
This is product-native word of mouth: creators share because the result is worth sharing, not because we incentivise them to.
Sharing Mechanism Upgrade Path
Post-collaboration, StreamFuse auto-generates a verified stat card showing each creator's viewership lift — shareable across TikTok, Twitter, and Discord. Creators share these organically because results worth sharing get shared. No reputation points or platform incentives are attached to sharing: the Reputation Protocol remains tamper-proof by design, including from our own product decisions. This is distribution as a byproduct of the product working — not a growth hack. Activates alongside Reputation Protocol mainnet in Year 2, timed deliberately so every card issued is on-chain verified and advertiser-credible.
TwitchCon and PAX East/West activations: live collab matchmaking demos, QR code to signup on-site. These events attract exactly the 0–2K follower micro-streamer profile that is StreamFuse's core user — thousands of them in one venue, actively looking for collaborators.
Event presence also creates natural press and community content moments — organic amplification at zero additional cost.
Every successful collab creates two brand advocates. Post-collab, both creators automatically receive a shareable Collab Card — showing their viewership lift, collab partner, and StreamFuse score — formatted for Twitter/X and Instagram. The product markets itself every time it works.
2 organic posts per successful collab. Zero ad spend.
Ghosting — the single biggest drop-off point in creator collabs — is eliminated by the Reputation Protocol. A no-show is automatically logged. Creators with poor reliability scores stop getting matched. The accountability layer is what makes retention real.
Unit economics detail: see callout above.
StreamFuse serves a self-replenishing market. Streamers who find their network and no longer need active matching are a success marker — proof the product worked. The market never stops producing new creators: as one cohort grows and graduates, a fresh wave of micro-streamers enters the platform facing the same problem on day one. This mirrors how League of Legends sustains its playerbase — original audiences move on, new audiences discover it continuously. Our North Star of 12,000 active creators is not dependent on locking existing users in perpetuity. It is dependent on a market that never runs dry — and at 7.3M active monthly streamers globally, it does not.
"A really good idea for new streamers — they can team up with other streamers even ending up with a group, and easy to use as well."
— jackifox51, Lethal Company streamer, Twitch
"Amazing for small creators like I who are looking for people to collab with."
— lolettadrawz, Art & Just Chatting, Twitch
The point at which community flywheel becomes self-sustaining and advertiser pipeline activates
Organic underperformance trigger: if active creator count is below 1,000 by Month 6, StreamFuse activates Reddit paid promotion ($500/month) and accelerates affiliate outreach from 10 to 25 target creators. Paid ads remain Year 3+ by design — this is a bridge, not a pivot.
